Artists Roster
Ian 'Mac' McLagan
Ian McLagan is a genuine, dyed-in-the-wool rock’n’roller. In fact, his smiling visage — he was, after all, a member of the Small Faces and the Faces — would serve as an ideal illustration in the proverbial Dictionary of What Is Truly Cool.
Will Sexton
Will Sexton, whose writing credits range from work with Waylon Jennings and Stephen Stills to Joe Ely and Bill Carter, is shaped by the unique diversity of the Austin music scene. Fate and his own sheer talent placed him on stage with local legends before he'd lived out his first decade. Will and his big brother, Charlie, started playing together at the Continental Club when Will was 9 and Charlie was 11. Many of the sounds of his childhood still resonate in his current work. Will received early success in Austin and was signed by MCA at age 16. He has survived in the tough Austin music scene by playing gigs with a variety of notable artists. It is never unusual to go out to catch a show featuring an Austin singer/songwriter and see Will onstage.
Don Harvey
Don Harvey is a soulful drummer & composer living in Austin, Texas. Raised in New York, he began playing at age 14 & hit the road when he turned 19. He made his first professional recording with Jonathan Geffen & David Broza (two of Israel’s best-known recording artists) in Tel Aviv, where Don resided from 1975-1980. These early experiences, recording & performing with musicians from the Middle East, had a lasting impact.
Brittany Shane
Brittany Shane's fifth album, Loud Nights On A Short String on Painted Lady Records will be released on January 21, 2012. The album was recorded in 11 days during the extra-hot Summer of 2011 at The Finishing School in Austin, Texas. George Reiff (Court Yard Hounds) played bass, Scrappy Jud Newcomb (Ian 'Mac' McLagan & The Bump Band) played guitar, Dony Wynn (Robert Palmer) played drums, and Johnny Goudie (Skyrocket) played keyboards. George and Scrappy also co-produced the album.
Radiola
Radiola is a diverse group, mixing unique instrumentation with finely crafted songwriting to create a genre all its own. Radiola's eclectic sound bears traces of many styles, from 70s rock to classical influences, with touches of Latino rhythm and gypsy strings. Radiola's new CD Standard Broadcast was recorded and produced by Joe McDermott at R-19 Studios in Austin, Texas.
Matthias Sturm
The new album by Matthias Sturm, Blood And Thunder, produced by David Hillis (Pearl Jam, Afghan Wigs, James Blunt) was recorded at Blind Melon's studio with musicians such as two time Grammy nominated songstress Erin Alden and drummer Dave Krusen, who once anchored Pearl Jam as a founding member. This all-star album collaboration, which drops on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, conveys a subtle and colorful mix of Folk, Avant Garde, and French Chanson garnished with cinematic soundscapes and embellished by the remarkable, heartfelt voice of the singer.
Bradley Kopp & Lorrie Singer
The latest effort from Lorrie Singer and Bradley Kopp, A Deep Oasis, presents nine original songs and four covers and was co-produced by master recording artist and songwriter Iain Matthews (Matthews Southern Comfort, Fairport Convention).
Michael Fracasso
Michael Fracasso celebrates the release of his new CD, Saint Monday on Little Fuji Records. Saint Monday marks a more experimental path for Fracasso, who's been a celebrated singer-songwriter for almost two decades, with six albums to his name, including Love and Trust, When I Lived in the Wild, and Red Dog Blues.
Sarah Pierce
While on a trip to Austin, Texas in the Fall of 1993, Sarah Pierce discovered a feeling of true belonging and decided to make Austin home. With seven critically acclaimed releases to date, she recently released her eighth CD, Bring It On, on Little Bear Records. Sarah has toured hundreds of thousands of miles - both domestic and foreign - receiving rave reviews at fairs, festivals, conventions, and opening dates from South Dakota and Northern British Columbia to San Antonio and Europe.
Roxy Roca
"I'm on a mission from God," Taye Cannon deadpanned before breaking into laughter. "Well, maybe not exactly, but it kinda felt that way at first, and it still does sometimes."

Aimee Bobruk
"Nothing less than a work of art" is what Performing Songwriter is calling Aimee Bobruk's latest work. In what she terms indie/ambient/folk/rock Bobruk presents listeners with rich orchestral melodies, crisp lyrical images, and combines non-traditional instrumentation with ambient textures.
Ben Mallott
Roots formed in old standards, a juvenile heart, and his mother’s Ray Charles albums, Austin’s Ben Mallott uses his grainy timbre to remove the punctuation between singer and songwriter.
Bruce James
Bruce James is a soul man, no doubt about. Listen to him and his music and you’ll hear it: the sounds of the South, the dance and the church, the R&B juke joint and the Apollo Theater, the jazz that was born in the Crescent City, and the soul music that came from Muscle Shoals, Memphis and Detroit the Motor City to enthrall the world. It’s in his voice, in his inimitable touch on the keyboards, and in the songs he writes as well as those from the R&B, jazz and pop canon that he makes all his own.
